Situated in the heart of a World Heritage Site and surrounded by stunning Cornish countryside, the holiday cottages are close to the attractive village of Godolphin Cross. A walk through Godolphin Woods from Gwedna takes you to Godolphin House, owned by the National Trust, and which is steeped in Cornwall's mining history.
The west of Cornwall provides some of the best surfing, fishing and coastal walking in England. Gwedna's peaceful location, which is central for the North and South coasts, provides easy access to many stunning beaches and coves. Worth a mention are the sweeping sands of Gwithian to the North, whilst Prussia Cove, famous for its tales of smugglers, caves and crystal clear water, lies to the South. Not forgetting Penzance, The Lizard and picturesque St Ives, which are all 20 minutes by car.
